How much is a taxi per km?

Urban (Red): HK$29 for the first 2 km, then about HK$10.5 per km. Once the meter passes HK$102.5, about HK$7 per km.
New Territories (Green): HK$25.5 for the first 2 km, then about HK$9.5 per km. Once the meter passes HK$82.5, about HK$7 per km.
Lantau (Blue): HK$24 for the first 2 km, then about HK$9.5 per km. Once the meter passes HK$195, about HK$8 per km.

Taxi fare by distance, 1 to 40 km

Meter fare for the distance alone. Waiting time in traffic, tunnel tolls and surcharges are extra, so the real fare is usually a little higher.

Crossing the harbour by the Cross-Harbour, Eastern or Western tunnel usually adds a HK$25 return toll on top of the HK$25 toll. It is not charged when you board at a cross-harbour taxi stand.
